Best investment I made this year for my 1911

Fixed my slide lock back on last round issue.

Fantastic fit. I bot it for a Colt 1911 Govt, Series 70. Fit much more snug than the stop that came with the new gun. It dropped right, no fitting required. Typically well made Ed Brown product. (I was having trouble with the OEM stop sneaking out). Lock back is solid, buy parts from Ed Brown with confidence.

This slide stop has a little notch machined in to to help installing it without leaving the "idiot scratch". The notch helps push the safety spring away. Highly recommended for anyone that has a .45 1911.

I bought this slide stop to replace the factory part in my Colt government series 70. The original slide stop was always getting jammed when installing. I am familiar with the superior design of this part from my EB Kobra Carry. This part has a notch cut into its nose that positions it perfectly and lets it easily depress the plunger. Perfect.

I bought this product to replace the factory slide stop on my old Springfield Armory MC operator. The original Factory piece stop locking the slide back and was difficult to take apart. This Ed Brown forged slide stop was a perfect drop in fit and it fixed my slide lock issues. I would definitely recommend this part.

I have used this part in past builds with no issues. I have this part on my personal firearms and have had flawless performance out of this part. It's priced right and I recommend it to my customers for their guns. When asked if I use this part I show them my carry. They are then satisfied and order the part. I only tell my customers about parts that I would use and do use for personal use in my weapons.

Just what I wanted. Great quality and feel with very little fitting needed in my 2014 TRP Operator. Maybe 1-2 turns with 2000 grit polish paper and in she went.
