So simple but so useful ! I was trying to find something in my shop with just the wright bend in it to push out the extractor. I just was not having luck when I saw this tool in Brownell's and ordered it. I was just perfect ! The wright tool for the job ! I only wished I had come up with it !
Exactly What The Job Requires
I have already used this tool on my 100 year old Colt 1911, my Colt Combat Unit 1911 rail gun, and a friend's ATI Titan 3" officer model 1911. the Titan's extract would have been very hard to remove from the slide without this tool. Makes disassemble of the slide a breeze. With careful use it is the perfect angle to get at the extractor and of course remove the firing pin retentintion plate. I got this tool as part of the 1911 armored"s tool kit.

I always like to have the right tool for the job. This is useful in removing tight fitting extractors. Better than using a punch or a widget stick.
