High quality look, enhanced grip
These are really good looking grips that give the hand better purchase on the handgun. I bought them to replace the cheap looking grips on my Citadel 9mm 1911. I did have to dremel some material off the top of the right side panel because it was preventing the safety lever from traveling the entire way down. Although I hated to grind the wood, it was an easily fixable issue, so I still give the grips 5 stars and would recommend.
New grips
I bought these to dress up the appearance of my Colt series 80. They feel more locked into my grip than the factory grips.
Great Product
I bought these for my RIA Model 1911-A1 in 38 Super, as it came with smooth wood grips. They fit perfectly without any modification. They improved my grip on the RIA as I had hoped! I recommend these and would buy another pair should I obtain another 1911 needing different grips!
Great grips
These grips are finished very nicely, fit perfectly and the color and figure of the wood is really nice.
Functional
Nicely checkered and functional grips which display an orangish hue. While one is attractive the other appears to have had two obvious imperfections filled before being checkered which detracts somewhat from the appearance. Overall I'm a bit disappointed as I was hoping for a pair like the ones pictured -- but buying natural products sight unseen is always a gamble.
