The 1911 Barrel Alignment Block fits nicely between the slide rails to help prevent barrel twist. The Brownells 1911 Barrel Alignment Block may require minor fitting to the slide. Excellent barrel Alignment Tool

This puppy just plain works. I used it for a Nighthawk barrel and an original Kimber barrel to fine tune hood fitting. The alignment block fit in the Kimber 1911 slide rails perfectly, and easily aligned the lower lugs of both barrels.

Makes barrel fitting a snap..

This barrel Alignment Block is a must have along with the barrel lug cutting tools. The barrel sits in the frame straight and you clamp it down using the barrel holder. Made cutting the lugs and fitting the barrel link a snap. My barrel "Snicks" into battery now. You just can beat that feeling you get by doing it all by yourself!

Works great

Fits my Sig slide great, 2 sizes fits different lugs, keeps barrel center firing barrel fitting process.

Worked great for me!

Mine also arrived with two slots. Another reviewer seemed to be complaining about this. The slots were slightly different in width and one of them fit my customer's gun perfectly. To me, the slightly wider slot may be good for other barrels, or could be fitted as necessary. The tool was also a nice fit inside the slide rails. I'm not sure how the tool could be made much better!

I purchased one of these to fit a new Kkm precision barrel in an sti slide.. It worked perfect

The kit's been out of stock 4 too long!

I really wanted the entire kit, but it has been out of stock for far too long. I had to buy the components for the kit individually, but the convenient case made to keep it in was not found. Other than that, I am satisfied with these tools in general.
