out of spec

Description says its a drop in, but not the one i got. The main body was too wide by about + .040" the rails were out by anywhere from +.020 to .045" depending upon where you measured. Lots of fitting and it is still not quite right. On the plus side, the checkering is excellent.

Poor QC on this one

I have used this brand a few times and not had any problems a little minor fitting wouldnt cure, but this last one (third) was a real disappointment. The pin hole is drilled seriously off-axis and cannot be corrected by any reasonable level of fitting. Not sure what Ill do now if I want a good arched & checkered MSH. These are usually good quality, but this one obviously slipped past the QC process. Not sure if I could recommend these anymore.
