Very happy
I installed this rear sight on an RIA Tactical 45. My slide was already cut for a Novak Low Mount sight, so only minimal fitting was required. Not a "drop in" wich is a plus in my book, I was able to get a nice tight fit in about an hour. I like having the low mount defensive sight profile in an adjustable sight, and the serrations reduce glare very well. I paired this rear sight with a Kensight front and I really like the combo, I get a nice sharp sight picture. This set up is ideal for my purposes wich includes pin shooting and defense. I have'nt put alot of rounds through my pistol(less than 1000) with this sight, but so far it seems to be holding up just fine. I am very happy with my experiance so far.

not good enough
Elevation adjustment range is weird - it had to be bottomed out to regulate with Springfield's front, and yet there is a lot of travel left. The moving part is exposed, and pressing on it makes the adjustment screw loose. So it basically does not hold zero very well. First that I ordered was defective - had a lamp of metal in the screw well which prevented it from going all the way down. Second is better, but the lamp, although smaller, is still there. Seems to be a manufacturing artifact. Overall, both design and quality are less than ideal.
