Quality 1911 mags!
I have a friend who is a competitive shooter and also carried his 1911 as an EDC pistol. He’s sworn by Ed Brown magazines for years.
These magazines are well constructed, feed well (even hollow points which 1911s are funny about sometimes).
Not the cheapest ; however, when it comes to glasses, footwear, and firearms, cheap almost never works out.
Brownells-you are always on point. Fast and easy to order and ships quickly. Well packed also!

Excellent
Excellent magazines! Use them in all my 1911s. They are right there with Wilson Combat mags.
ED Brown magazine
This product runs just fine in my RIA 5" 1911. Very good construction and fits just right. I will be buying more of these for back up's!
World-Class Quality
Absolutely NO Follower Nose Dive!!! Plus, a great price.
Fits great with the Ed Brown mag well
This mag sits Perfectly flush with the Ed brown mag well that I installed.
A best buy
I have a number of magazines from various custom gun makers. Ed Brown magazines are without a doubt the equal of magazines costing twice the price. So far I have not had any problems at all that could have been magazine related. Recently I attended an advanced training course with a custom built 1911 by one of the top makers and was using their branded magazines. I had several magazine related hiccups. I got home and tried to recreate the issues with Ed Brown magazines. The gun ran 100%. I now have 15 Ed Brown 8 round magazines and intend to buy at least 10 more. I try to shoot at least 100 rounds per day in my range behind the house.
Fine Magazine
These mags work just fine in both of my 1911s - a Sig and a Ruger. I'm new to 1911s, so I don't have a ton of rounds through them, but seem every bit as good as the manufacturer's, as well as more expensive ones (which I also run).
EXTREMELY pleased with these.
Extremely pleased with these, especially at about half the price of the other good 8-rd mags. The springs definitely feel stronger than those on my Wilson 47Ds. Ill still run the Wilsons, but its hard to justify buying more of them over this Ed Brown mag.
