The real deal
This is NoDak Spud's railed rear sight for OEM 10/22. It dropped right onto a factory drilled and tapped receiver and aligned perfectly with no fitting or modification required. Fit and finish were excellent, the rail section is to spec, sight adjustments are positive and don't shift. With both a O-2 and precision aperture this sight will handle the gamut from casual plinking to Appleseed, and the latter is the purpose I built this particular rifle for. On their website NoDak Spud notes that this rear, combined with their front sight, will co-witness in the bottom third with a Bushnell TRS-25 and I suspect that may be about the only one it will co-witness with. I tried a couple of rimfire capable red dots I had on hand, a BSA and a Tru-Glo, and neither came close to co-witness so if you plan to add a red dot onto this you will likely be limited in your choices to the Bushnell unit or something else that is similarly low rise.

Good quality, but doesnt work with...
This rear sight aperture is too tall to be zeroed with the Tech Sight front sight post. Thats a shame because Brownells Customer Care says it does outright in the Q and As. This is FALSE. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the product itself.

Amazing quality and performance
I just got back from the range after using these sights for the first time. These sights are amazing, and I couldn't wait to write a review so that other people know. I purchased the NDS-26 rear sight and the NDS-40 front sight for my Ruger 10/22. I had some difficulty removing the stock front sight, but other than that, installation was a breeze. Sighting the gun in was straightforward, using the instructions that were shipped with the sights. Once the gun was sighted, I shot about 100 rounds with much better accuracy than what I'd been able to achieve with the stock sights. I highly recommend this product.

OUT - DADGUM - STANDING
The ONLY reason I gave this NDS rear sight system a "5" is because Brownells does not have a "10" point rate system. All my rifles have AR rail & peep sight systems and I couldn't SEE the rear 10/22 sight with the factory rail installed and couldn't hit chit with those sights anyway. This sight / rail system is excellent manufacture, fits perfectly and turned this little popper into an exciting JOY to shoot and I managed a 1.5 - 2" group at 100 yds off of a Steady Rest with 64 y/o eyes. My "only" complaint is within the written description stating "Use with RUGER front sight # --- -- ---". It SHOULD say "Use with NDS 10/22 front sight". THAT caused another order and delay but the complete system is WELL WORTH the time money and effort. Only Suggestion: OIL / LUBE that rear windage adj BEFORE heading to the range.

10/22 Nodak Spud sights
I love these sights they make shooting alot quicker. I love iron sights. This is a great improvement over the standard 10/22 sights. It also makes my rifle feel like a m1a1 carbine. The m1 carbine is my favorite rifle of all time. These sights make it feel like a modern twist on a legend with a picatinny rail and the tech sights included on this package. My stock (ramline : most of the things i have on my rifle were not made win this stock was big) made neck strain with the factory sights . The only thing is i had to dump my ncstar slip on flash hider but thats ok with me because the m1 carbine doesnt have that either. I would recommend these sights to anyone who has a 10/22.

huge improvement
The front and rear sight combo from Nodak Spud are a HUGE improvement over the factory sights. I have them mounted on a 10/22 takedown. From a bench at 50 yards, I am stacking rounds one on top of another. My last trip to the range, shooting off hand at 25 yards, I drew a smiley face :) The sights are easy to mount and adjust. They sit higher than the stock sights, which may be useful if you are using an aftermarket stock. The rear sight and rail allow you to use optics as well. I am using see-through rings with a 2-6x scope.
