Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
They work
Good quality
Excellent
ordered to determine correct size for my .40S&S. Works great. Will order 1000 next time.
Can you ever have enough patches?
I was given a 22 rifle because the owner said it was horribly inaccurate. After running some 20 patches thru the barrel, it was the worst barrel I'd ever seen, I put a inch and a half group on target at 100 yds.
Small hand full and a sharp scissors...
A small handful of patches and a sharp scissors in a plastic bottle in the range pack and you are ready. Put it back into the gun safe and it is ready for the next event. No worry if I have the correct caliper patch on hand. I custom fit for the weapon in hand. Left over fragments are back into the bottle for use when needed. Have enough patch material to cover me for a spell. No need to worry or look for the correct size. Small handful of these patches and my sharp mini scissors get the job done right ___without order delivery time. ARMY Ret...a large bit of cleaning weapons experience
Great for .222 and .223
These are good quality; they don't shred. These fit nicely into my .222 and .223 barrels. Put the first one into the barrel soaked with Hoppes. About 5-6 dry patches later, they come out clean. These don't fit my .22LR
Excellent Patches
Excellent cleaning patches - I've used various sizes for years and am ordering additional today. Yes - they are cotton and cotton has threads. You might see a loose thread or two around the edges - that's normal. They work exactly as expected.
Cotton Patches
i agree with the other reviewer - "I have used them to clean shotguns for years and they are my absolute first choice. Also use them to do final wipe down on firearms before [any] winter storage." I have not experiecned the problem of loose threads, but have not used them for a rifled firearm.
Mainstay for 30 years
I have never used these patches to clean a firearm with rifleling (lands and grooves). I have used them to clean shotguns for years and they are my absolute first choice. Also use them to do final wipe down on firearms before winter storage. They pick up excess oil and grease but do not remove the coating like microfiber. I also use them for all kinds of detailing and cleaning around the shop. Everything from car and motorcycle detailing to bright metal polishing. Cotton is the best!
BEST CLEANING PATCH KIT EVER!
I go shooting 2-3 times a week and always clean my guns when I'm done firing them and I am super anall about cleaning EVERY bit of residue out of my guns and all their parts. That said I have been using the master patch kit for over a year now and i still have a bunch of patches left. The assorted sizes are great and making cleaning any gun a breeze This is the best option from an affordability stand point considering you can pay 5-7$ for a few patches at a gun store.
