Waste of time and money
This gets one star only because zero is not an option. After properly degreasing & prepping an anodized handguard, the first coat produced tiny bubbles all over the surface as well as runs of paint. I sprayed the correct distance, was not too close or far away. The second coat brought more runs in the paint as well as sputtering and splattering out of the can. Ive used duracoat with my airbrush twice & both times its turned out fantastic, but this aerosol can was a costly mistake that I now have to spend time blasting off, & then buy traditional duracoat and do it the right way. I could not be more disappointed in this product, complete junk!

Not a good product
I have tried a couple cans of duracoat, and will never again. sprays poorly, doesnt coat well, and comes off easier than carbon from shooting. Laughably, I would grab a can of rustolium before using dura coat agin.

Terrible product.
Isn't durable at all. You can scratch it off with a fingernail. Don't waste your money and time.

Not as good as original formula
The can in a can product is marginal at best. The finish doesn't come up to the quality of the manually mixed duracoat. I refinished 3 guns with the original formula and they came out great. I cannot recommend this product at all. I was highly disappointed with the rattle can.

No better than $1 can spray paint.
I read the directions and carefully prepared a 1911 to re-finish. I waited the 3-4 week curing time and the paint still flakes off. It also has a slick light semi-gloss appearance to it. Brownells Aluma-Hyde II works better and cost less.

Faulty Can, it did not work.
After a couple of hours of prep work on a S&W 15-22, I was able to spray the parts for a total time of about 30 seconds before the can started to spit and sputter then it quickly quit spraying at all. It seemed as if the can lost total pressure, I took another spray nozzle off of another aerosol can to try it and it started spraying again, but the replacement nozzle was not adequate enough to use to finish the job. I Tried to put the original nozzle back on the can it would not spray. So it all came down to a faulty nozzle on the can.
