EXCELLENT TRIGGER
I bought this for a very old but gently used 1022 and I couldn't believe how much of a difference it made when compared to the original trigger. It has truly transformed this rifle and was ,by far ,the best upgrade I have ever made to this thing. The price point is excellent compared to others and it is well worth the cost for what you receive. You will absolutely not regret this purchase.....
Ruger upgrade Trigger
I compete in Metallic Silhouette and need a very light trigger. This one drops right in my 10/22 and has a crisp let off. We'll see how it shoots.

A factory Ruger trigger unit - very easy for anyone to install and the change in trigger function from the original is like night/day.
Huge improvement
The single best upgrade you can do to your 10/22. Period. Simple to install, it drops right in just like the one you removed. Incredible difference in how the rifle shoots. Absolutely worth the money. I've told all my shooting buddies about it.
Real Value
I bought the BX to replace my stock trigger assembly. It was a very easy install and I estimate my trigger pull was reduced by half. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one for my next build.
Tremendous Upgrade at a Great Price
After months of reading & researching the Ruger 10/22, I knew I would be wanting a lighter trigger pull. So, the same day I bought my model 1103 (on sale , of course), I ordered the BX from Brownells (also, on sale). It arrived today and was installed 30 minutes later. Average is 2.5 pounds, by my trigger pull gauge. I'm satisfied.
Awesome. It's a Ruger....So....
I had one of these for a while and decided to put it in the wife's 10/22. Amazing! Then, when I saw one for half price here at Brownell's I scarfed it up immediately. I love this trigger! Very clean and crisp at slightly over 2 pounds. I have always loved Ruger's firearms, and this is a welcome addition.
Finally a decent 10-22 trigger!
I have a 1980's vintage 10-22 that sat for at least 10-12 years since the last time I fired it. When I finally pulled it from the safe and took it to the range a few months back the trigger pull wasn't weighed in pounds, it was in metric tons. There was no way this trigger was going to do anything good for the rifle, so I looked around for a replacement. The Volquartsen and Timney trigger groups are really nice, but I didn't want to be forced to sell a kidney in order to buy one. The factory BX trigger was on sale at Brownells for under 50 bucks (About 1/5th the cost of the others) so I had to give it a try. The install took literally 10 minutes, and everything dropped into place and the gun went back together without a hitch. The new trigger is 10 times smoother and at least 1/4 the weight it was previously. Groups shrank at 25 yards and beyond, and shooting this 10-22 became fun again. My only blah about the BX trigger is the trigger and trigger guard is plastic ("Polymer" in today's techno world). After 40+ years of shooting I still prefer metal triggers and trigger guards on my rifles, but I'll overlook it in this case.
Why'd I wait?
The factory 10/22 trigger is nothing to write home about. It was never a deal breaker for me but it is a little heavy and two youngest girls have to 2 finger the trigger to squeeze one off. They're gonna love this. For 50 bucks I can't believe the improvement I've made to my rifle. The break is fast with little to no take up. I couldn't describe it as "glassy" or as tactile as some more exotic triggers but come on....its 50 bucks. Believe me, you get every penny's worth and then some.
Nice upgrade and affordable!
I received the BX trigger today from Brownells and it only took about 10 minutes to install.I am very pleased with the result.I put it into my new 10/22 Takedown which from the factory had an average trigger pull of 5# 3oz. After the trigger group swap the average went down to 2# 8oz. A very nice result for not a lot of cash.
