the alignment liners are great. but the way you have torque the rings to the bases is a bummer. I just don't like the idea of bending the bottom in as you tighten down. I will consider Burris again, but not this model of rings.

Significant rust on them as received

These rings had significant rust on them as received new in the package. Although not noticeable on casual inspection, it became very obvious when initially wiping them down with a clean/oily cloth, as they left a bright orange stain on the cloth. I retuned them for a refund. I previously/recently bought two sets of the same rings from another vendor, but they had the same problem, and were returned. Apparently this is a QC problem at Burris.
