Poor Fit
The slide has a small horizontal ridge near the front of the area. The cover does not have a corresponding valley, so there is a small gap at the front. It is not horrible, but I expected a perfect fit.
Ok but color does not match brownells slides
Came knicked near the screw holes and the black finish on the cover is much darker and shinier than the brownells slide. They make it sound like its color matched but its not. Otherwise the fit is very good.
Fits but doesn't match Brownells slide
Cover plate seems to fit correctly & basic shape looks like it belongs but the color is way off to look like it belongs on the Brownells window G-19 slide. (not even close color wise) The color discrepancy detracts from it's intended use but it does fit correctly & function as intended. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew the color match was this far off. For the amount of money I paid it should have been a closer color match.
It's Okay I guess
First off the finish is not anodized, which for the price it should be. I know this because when it arrived in and oversized plastic tube measuring 1-3/4" x 5" with no protection, the finish on the screw bosses were wore down to the shiny aluminum. If it was at least cover with masking tape it would not have wore the paint off by bouncing around in the tube during shipping. The shiny painted finish does contrast the great Nitride finish of the Brownells slide, so there's that too. It matches the slide cuts so there's a plus. So overall too much money for what you get IMHO. If it was a a steel nitride finish that was shipped properly I'd give it 5-stars.

Does not fit BRN Premium Window Slide for Glock 17 GEN 1/3 with RMR Cut
I just bought this to fit on my new Brownells Premium Glock 17 Slide with the RMR cut. This will not fit because the slide has two posts at the front of the optic cut. This cover plate is completely flat and does not sit flush on the slide. This would work if there were no posts. Make sure the slide you are purchasing is flush cut.
Does not fit the Brownells Premium G17 slide
This cover plate absolutely does not fit a Zev-posted slide, including the Brownell Premium G17 slide. It is entirely flat and does not have the notch’s in the front to fit around the Zev type front steps. I purchased this product after reading the reviews and the specific Question answered by Brownell that it would match their slide. So, it’s a 1 for fit under the premise that Brownells has not removed the post that implies a fit. However, if your slide RMR cut is entirely flat (other than posts), go for it. Also, I would give a 5 for customer service as Brownells emailed me the label for return and processed it quickly.
