Efficient
I used it for filling sight holes on a Remington Model 7 and a B.L.R. The screw holder was good for filing the front sight blanks down to the right height.

Exactly as it should be.
Ive bought these positive stop plug screws many times from Brownells over the last ~20yrs to plug holes when removing optics or other sights. Theyre a great depth so I dont end up filing them shorter, and the positive stop flared head helps them stay put, while offering a sleek, factory fresh aesthetic. Most recently, I was plugging some holes in the side of a ~75yr old Remington Fieldmaster - the owner had received it from his dad many years ago, but the scope mount was removed, leaving 4 unsightly mounting holes open on the side (and the rear sight on backwards, I assume for clearance under the optic). These plugged the holes perfectly, and gave a much cleaner look to the old rimfire, and the owner is very happy. I appreciate that the bluing is rather durable as well - theyre not a high polished, gloss blue, but a guy can run the screw in and out several times without peening the slots and without breaking through the finish, leaving an unsightly silver line in the slot.

Best screw hole plug.
Great product. Plugs screw holes properly. Has a stop that helps to prevent it from going in too deep. Looks much better than a straight hole plug.

Best plug ror threaded holes
Great product. Plugs screw holes properly. Has a stop that helps to prevent it from going in too deep. Looks much better than a straight hole plug.

Perfect
Used these to fill screw holes in a Ruger MK1 that the previous owner had tapped. These fit flush and the curve is perfect.

Perfect for Ruger 10/22 Receivers
I took some cheap old scope rings off my 10/22, and moved to Tech Sights. I needed to fill the 2 front receiver holes, since the tech sight only mounts to the 2 rear receiver holes. These Brownells plug screws are perfect. And a pack of 12 will last you a while, unless you are super clumsy, or have tons of 10/22s. The 6-48 thread twisted in perfectly. I used a tiny bit of blue Loctite, and they haven't come out after thousands of rounds, and about 2 years of use.

Plug Srews
Used on Rossi Rio Grande 3030 after removing picatinny rail it comes with. Fit perfectly and will keep debris from getting into action. I used the stainless steel to match the rifle finish.

Great product will buy again
These screws fit perfect, hard to find elsewhere. My Dad bought from them 30 years ago. You found the best if you shop here!

THE "BEST INSURANCE" FOR A CLEAN ACTION
THESE PLUG SCREWS ARE A GODSEND BECAUSE THEY KEEP ALL SORTS OF JUNK OUT OF YOUR WEAPON AFTER REMOVING SIGHT BASES OR PICATINNY RAILS.
