Best bore cleaner I've ever used!!
I've used a lot of bore cleaners in my 40 years of shooting, but this stuff seems to be the best. No smell or burn, yet cleans my 308 bore better than anything else I've used.
Great bore cleaner!
This stuff outdoes Butch's Boreshine without the toxic fumes. Takes the copper out easily and quickly. Best bore cleaner hands down.
Best ever
At first couldn't believe how well it removed, so I tried the old ammonia based solvent I had been using forever. To my suprise no sign of copper left in a lot less time and no Stink.
The Go-to moly solvent
According to the Moly coated bullet shooters on the forums (and my own exp) this is the solvent to use with Moly'd bullets.
Incredible bore cleaner
This stuff is incredible! No odor, easy to dispense, cleans copper out of my rifle barrel with the first pass. In the past, I've used Butch's Boreshine, but this stuff seriously outperforms it. You will not be disappointed.
Eliminate the COPPER!
This is the best bore solvent around. When you have got your bore clean with the other solvents on your shelf, follow the directions on this and watch the patches come out deep sea blue. Got so much copper out of my rifles after I THOUGHT they were clean with Butch's. Best of all, no smell!
Great stuff, works as advertised
This general bore solvent really cleans badly fouled bores. It even works on heavy jacket fouling when other products fail. It is a bit slower on the copper crud than their Cu+2 copper remover, but it still works very well. They have Chameleon gel coming out and that works very well too.
this stuff really is incredible
I use this stuff to clean all my guns, first patch comes out blue, let it sit for 10 mins or so, brush w/ nylon maybe 5 times, 1 more patch of the eliminator, then 2 or 3 dry patches. the bore is clean as a whistle. i only clean after every 100 rounds or so, so the guns have some copper in them.
Careful!
Got this stuff primarily to clean out corrosive primer residue. Works great on copper fouling. Powder residue cleaning mediocre. I follow up with old reliable #9. Wear gloves! This stuff will eat your skin. Protect your stock! This stuff will dissolve some finishes.
Would you recommend this?
Yes, I would recommend to a friend
Good Stuff
I've used a LOT of different bore cleaners (Butch's, Break Free, Hoppe's no 9, Lucasoil CLP, Pro-shot copper remover, etc.), and this is by far the best at removing copper fouling. I guess my only gripe would be that it's recommended to use nylon brushes because it turn bronze brushes green and to not give a false indication of copper still there, and the nylon aren't nearly as effective. Thus, after cleaning with this and nylon to get the copper, I dry it and then use CLP and a bronze brush which gets a lot more black carbon.
