These original Colt factory replacement Cobra Front Sights bring modern low-light sighting technology to Colt's new revolver. They are correct replacement for damaged front fiber optic or Tritium sights OR excellent upgrades if your Cobra came out of the box with a plain "iron" front sight. The Fiber Optic Front Sight's open top lets its red fiber optic rod gather and concentrate available ambient light, so the sight appears to glow and naturally attracts your eye. The self-illuminating Tritium in the Tritium Night Sight's insert produces a soft glow to help you achieve a quick sight picture in really low light, while the eye-catching white ring around the insert attracts the eye in daylight. what size allen wrench

Various questions as to size of wrench. One suggested .50 allen wrench. His decimal point is off. I found (finally) in a not so often used tool box a set of wrenches. The .05 works fine.

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!

I've been waiting for this sight since I purchased my 4.25" 2020 Python in early February. Thank you Brownells! This is an excellent front sight. The tritium is very bright and easy to see even before the ambient light becomes too dim to see the sight post. For daylight shooting the sight has a useful large white dot surrounding the tritium. Installation was super easy: unscrew the tiny .505" Allen screw above the muzzle, pull out the orange ramp sight, then plop in the new night sight and reinstall the Allen screw. It literally takes about a minute. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you use LocTite on the sight base and especially the .050" Allen screw, as the Allen screws tend to shoot loose and are hard to replace. You'll notice that the new tritium sight is visibly lower than the OEM ramp sight. This will likely require that you will want to readjust and lower the rear sight quite a bit to compensate. With the 125gr .357 loads I use I had to lower the rear sigh almost all the way down. In my estimation this is not a bad thing because before the rear sight had been cranked up rather high. At this juncture I've found no negatives with the new tritium sight. It is exactly what I was looking for and installation couldn't have possibly been easier. Just make sure that you have a .050 Allen screw (not included with the Python) and some LocTite and you'll be fine.

Colt Tritium Night Sight

This OEM Tritium sight fits perfectly on King Cobra Carry .357 magnum with 2 inch barrel. Works so much better than the brass bead that comes standard on the revolver. This should be installed by Colt on any edc weapon. Great service and fast shipping from Brownells. I would recommend this tritium sight to anyone with the current generation colt cobra and king cobra revolvers.

King cobra 2019

Perfect fit for 2019 king cobra. You will need a .50 Allen wrench to install this. Dont forget the loctite...

Great sight and great cost. Cant wait to get this for my Colt King Cobra Install was a litte tough to get hex key small enough for removal of factory sight. It would have been nice to have that type of note on install instructions. What size key to use
