Great Adapter
This product allows the user to switch from benchrest sled to bipod in minutes. I've mounted these on four rifles and am very pleased with the easy mount/dismount. Solid, excellent quality and stays clamped to the rails even with heavy-recoiling rifles.
Great Accessory for Benchrest
I've fittted four of these to four rifles with picatinny rails. It fits in the Sinclair rest perfectly. With the rest and the adapter, the rifle is well stabilized. I would recommend this for any shooter wishing to go from a bipod to a better rest.

Quality made and finished product
Once in hand the machining and finish of this product are very impressive, especially for the price. Works well on my Cowan rest w/ Protektor 3" bag. I use it for 100/200yd .22lr match shooting with a Vudoo V22 in a KRG Bravo stock.
A Great Shoooting Aid
For the first time ever, I have been able to test the absolute accuracy of my ammunition (tenex) and target rifle (1813). This makes the front end rock solid in my rest, without any rotation. 10 shots..one hole!
Fits Kimber 82g
It fit the rail on my CMP Kimber 82G perfectly. Did Not fit my Remington 40X HB US marked with out filing width and thickness of the square nuts that slide into the rail. Took about an hour to file and fit
Fits Together Perfect with 749-011-468
Maybe factory paid attention to some negative reviews here and made some corrections to this model... But it really fits perfectly with rest adapter and I had no even tiny problem attaching the parts together. I am so happy with this mount!
Looks Very Slick Too
I purchased one rail adapter for my Rem. 700 in 308 and was instantly pleased with results. I was also pleased with the fact I measured and purchased stainless bolts and was at the range the same day. Today I confirmed the results are owed to this adapter, so I ordered one for my RPR. The rail adapter is on back order . Can not wait for the results.
Fits Together Perfect with 749011468
I found that the Picatinny Adapter fits perfect with the Benchrest Forend Rail Adapter. No issues with oversize or undersize parts as some other reviewers noted.
Someone deserves a design prize for this
Even when a high quality bench rest is used, shooting results will always be limited by how well the gun is held steady on the rest. When used with the Benchrest Picatinny Adapter (080-000-972WB), this accessory stabilizes AR handguards and other rounded and/or thin fore ends and stocks very well, and makes it much easier to shoot good groups. The first time I used it I noticed an immediate improvement with rifles that werent designed for bench rests. Removing a frustrating variable when trying to zero a tactical or hunting rifle makes it well worth its reasonable price.
