Look good but don't function
These mags look great, but fail to perform. The interior is roughly machined and the springs are WEAK which leads to nothing but problems. They would fail to feed the last 4 to 5 rounds consistently. The follow tilts just enough to prohibit the carrier from properly stripping the next round. If you have a ZEV/ MEGA SR25 patterned 308 avoid these mags.
No thanks
Bought 3 of these to try in a PA-10 Gen2, that dorsn't like PMags, and trying to save a few $$ vs. Lancers. PA-10 stripped the first round and smashed it into the feed ramp. Shame on me, it was a FGMM. Figured I would try it in a 716i. The last round in the mag, would not feed. Period, end of story. Maybe someday I'll get bored enough to try the other 2 of these mags I bought. In the meantime, I ordered more Lancers.
Wouldn't recommend
I'm not really sure which type of AR10 these are supposed to be for, but they are very loose and sloppy in a standard (DPMS/SR25) style lower receiver(s)-the magazines won't lock into battery or stay in place. While loading a variety of bullets was easy enough, overall they just wouldn't catch in various lower receivers, or with multiple different attempts to swap out magazine catches. Breaking out the micrometers and a caliper, I found the overall dimensions of the magazine catch hole well within spec, but the magazines themselves were to thin to fit in a magazine well (Aero Precision, Rainier billet, etc.). I purchased both the 5, and 20 round versions and neither would latch in any receiver I tried. Someone at D&H might need to go back to the drawing board.
They do not work in my m5 aero receiver
I bought 2 of them and the bolt will not strip the rounds out of the magazine. I thought my lower might have something wrong with it so i bought a magpul mag everything works perfect with it. I started to bend the feed lips up and got it to work sometimes but gave up. I have several of there ar 15 mags and they work perfect I don't know if i got a bad batch or they don't work in dpms style guns or what happened .
They fall out
I bought 3 of these mags FOR AN AR-10. My advice...DON'T BUY THEM!!! Your wasting your money. When the rifle is fired they just fall out. Happens every time I pull the trigger. Then I found that I can just pull them out of the weapon without pressing the release button. At first I thought just one had the problem but after testing all 3 they all pull out with only slight effort. They all seat and the catch settles into the retaining hole but with a little pull and a wiggle they just come right out. I thought that the mag retainer had a problem so I tested all my PMAGS. Not one of them failed. DON'T PURCHASE THEM!!!!
Does Not Fit DPMS RFLR G2B24
I have a DPMS RFLR G2B24. I bought one of these to evaluate since the ones with the light green follower are no longer available; those fit the rifle without any problems. This one requires too much force to insert it into the magazine well; its just too tight. Removal is very difficult; it does not fall free. I should mention that I bought one of the 10 round versions of the magazine and that one fits the rifle without any problems. It inserts easily and falls free when the magazine release is pressed. The overall construction is excellent. It has an orange, anti-tilt follower and holes to view the approximate number of cartridges. The magazine is 3/8 longer than the previous model with the light green follower. Unfortunately, the magazine I received is missing the right forward follower stop, i.e. broken off. The stop is about half the size of the model with the light green follower and may be an indication of a design flaw that makes it too fragile and subject to failure. Returned for credit.
