L.E. WILSON CASE GAGES

The most important use of a cartridge case gage is for setting up 7⁄8"-14 press type full length resizing dies. A common error in reloading is to oversize your brass. Headspace of fired cases can quickly and accurately be measured using this tool and a caliper.

Regular Style: This one piece gage will check overall length to indicate a need for trimming and datum to head length to assure correct headspace to prevent over sizing.

Adjustable Style: For belted mags. While the belt provides support for proper headspace, the life of the case will drastically shorten unless resizing is held to a minimum at the shoulder.

6.5x55mm Swede Case Gage

I use the gage to make sure my reloads will chamber properly. It came with excellent and easy to understand instructions. It does not measure case body or neck measurements, but it does show how well the case makes headspace clearance when insterted in the gage. It also shows how much needs to be trimmed from the case too. All in all, a good investment for piece of mind at the range during a vintage military bolt action rifle competition.

Accutate and easy to use

The Wilson Headspace gauge, used with a dial caliper and a straight edge ruler give me accurate measurements of true headspace and case length so I can produce accurate and safe reloads for my .308 Win. You just have to spend a little time to learn how to use correctly and then actually use it. Like any other tool, it will do no good just sitting on the bench. It must be utilized to be more than a paperweight. Good, useful product. Thank you L. E. Wilson, Inc. and thank you Brownells for carrying it.

Case gauge

I use the case gauge on most everything I load , it helps to insure your case will chamber. Its a great tool to have and use.

L.E. Wilson 6mm ARC Case Gauge

The L.E. Wilson 6mm ARC Case Gauge is a precision tool for measuring case length & cartridge headspace. I was fortunate to find this gauge at Brownells as they are for a new cartridge with hard to find tools & components for reloading.

Already in new 6ARC

Brownell's and L.E. Wilson are right on the ball. I was able to get a case gauge before I could get empty brass or dies! This case gauge is the usual Wilson HIGH Quality. You can use these to check headspace and case length. Highly recommended.

A Must Have for AR type Rifles & Pistols

This is the best way I have found to check your Reloads for Correct Headspace. It eliminates over working your brass. It also insures that your ammo will fit in the chamber. If you use Redding Competition Shell Holder Sets you can adjust your resizing to size in .002 Increments at a time.

An essential tool

I use these for all my rifle calibers that I reload for. Resizing the case back to proper dimensions with this tool is simple to insure proper headspace and brass trim length are correct. You can guess or you can know for a fact. I choose to know.
