TACTICAL TRIGGER

TACTICAL TRIGGER Reviews & Ratings

The Overwatch Precision TAC Trigger is a flat flat-faced, direct drop-in replacement for your OEM trigger. Each trigger shoe and trigger safety tab is machined in the USA out of 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, and affixed to an NP3 plated, Gen 3 OEM trigger bar by 316 Stainless Steel coiled spring pins. The trigger shoe and safety tab are both Type III hard coat anodized to MIL-A-8625 standard. The small indexing hook ensures consistent trigger finger placement, and the broad, flat face of the trigger allows a uniquely self-correcting, straight rearward press. The flat face reduces trigger reach is by 0.24", making this an ideal option for smaller statured shooters. Pre-travel has been reduced as much as possible without compromising firearm safety features, resulting in a clean, crisp break, and reduced overtravel. Robar's NP3 plating provides virtually impermeable corrosion resistance and smooth, grit-free operation. Note that trigger pull weight does not change from factory weight with the use of this trigger alone.

Nice upgrade
This trigger is a great upgrade for Glock builds. I have this trigger setup in a few of my Glocks and have had nothing but positive reviews from my range buddies. The install is a simple drop in and it helps reduce the take up and reset drastically. A very easy install and the change is noticeable. Highly recommend.

Worse than stock
I tried two of these in my 3rd gen Glock 17 and they never worked as well as the factory trigger. The short reset/take-up was not present with this trigger. All the Overwatch and Apex and other "trigger mods" are just different trigger shoes with the same style trigger bar. I have found that trigger bars vary so much in tolerance as well as Glock frames that you may need to go through half a dozen to find one that works right in your particular Glock pistol! Sometimes the striker will not release, or sometimes the trigger won't reset. Most of the time it felt like the Overwatch ADDED travel to the trigger - there was more creep and play than before. After trying my best to like the Overwatch (the shoe feels decent in my finger versus stock) the stock factory trigger worked the best overall. I went through about 6 different connectors (Ghost, Ghost Edge, Scherer, Factory Minus, etc...) sometimes from the same brand/model before I settled on a Ghost Edge. If you were like me and trying to find a way to get the Glock trigger to work/feel as close to a Match trigger as possible (or like a real trigger from Sig, FN, or other pistol manufacturers), best of luck to you because I have not found a solution in the past 16+ years. This Overwatch trigger is not the solution. You could try swapping just the trigger shoe but I hear that is a difficult task.
