Nice to have

Nice to have around the shop. Secure nicely and won't work their way down into the action. Would prefer an allen fitting instead of screw slot.

Upgrade to older rifle

Used these screws to fill holes on REM 700 that I removed the iron front and rear sights. Filled holes nicely. The front sights holes were shallow so the screws protruded slightly. Screw slots are small and getting them started was a bit of a struggle, but overall a good product that gets the job done.

Fits well

The positive stop is a plus. Provides a secure fit and a professional look.

Plug Screw Refill Kit

These plug screws were perfect size & thread for the use I bought them for ... Installed quickly, fit perfectly, and look great instead of the empty holes... Brownells customer service was great and shipping was super fast.... Thanks Brownells!

Needed to fill Unertl base screw holes.

These were for personal use. I have a Stevens single shot that I had installed bases for a Unertl scope. I found that I actually liked the old style Vernier iron sights on the rifle more but I did not want to leave the scope bases in place. There are other screws that are cheaper but these have a true positive stop so there are no high or low filler screws. They do have a fine slot in the head and I found that using a magnetic screw driver made installing the screws much easier.

Works wonderfully!

The previous owner of my rifle drilled and tapped the tang for a tang-mounted peep sight. I used these to plug the holes. They worked wonderfully. It looks very professional.
