MONOGRIPS FOR REVOLVERS

MONOGRIPS FOR REVOLVERS Reviews & Ratings

One-piece construction keeps the grip rock-solid on the frame - no shift or wobble to destroy concentration and accuracy. Ergonomic design positions right- or left-hand exactly, shot after shot; plus helps absorb recoil. Nylon and rubber grips feature a stippled surface that stops hand slip without causing clothing wear when carried in a holster. Rubber, Round-To-Square grips give the appearance and feel of a comfortable, hand-filing square grip on factory, round-grip frames.

SPECS: Nylon molded and reinforced, a hard, tough grip. Rubber molded from recoil-absorbing rubber. Blackhawk® fits new model Blackhawk®, new model Single Six®, and old, large frame Vaquero®.

Great Grips
Years ago I found these grips and there were no other options after I tried them. I currently shoot 6 K frames from a 2" to 6", 2 L frames, and 1 N frame with these grips on a weekly basis. My 2" K frame carry gun has the round butt grip that, although a little big, allows accurate shooting and reasonable carry. I'm fixin to buy 2 more for the square butt K frame as a like new model 48 is headed my way along with another 586. Yes, I've tried several of the "P" brand but I always come right back to these.

Good for be big hands
I have 2 on the Ruger old armies. The factory grip is too small for me. This fills my hand and I point the gun much easier.

Great improvement
Easy to install, recoil reducing, great fit, looks good. I had sweet looking set of wood grips on my SP101- the recoil was very unpleasant, the rubber grip made a big difference when shooting full power 357's

My only choice for S&W revolvers!
I have had many S&W K, L, and N frames over the years. I still bring one to practice every Monday with my Autos. ALL my S&Ws have them except for a model 17 with an original "Rogers" grip that was discontinued long ago. I still haunt gun shows and the web looking for 70-80s K frames and when I find one, I get another HOGUE grip for it and put away the wood grips. ALL the guns get shot and that's why they will always have HOGUE grips and nothing else!!!

Hogue's are a Must Try.
Used Hogue Grips on S&W K, L, and N Frame Revolvers since the mid 80s. Had them on duty guns, competitive builds, and concealed carry revolvers. I've not used another grip, that's quicker to get a secure hand on, and bring into play, for double action shooting. Many are quite good, but don't have the total excellence the Hogue's offer. It's important to mention that I shoot my revolvers double action only, and the heaviest load I shoot is a 125 grain .357 Mag. Heavy .357, .41, .44,, and on up users, can save themselves some pain by using the Hogue's that cover the Revolver's Back Strap. Single Action use may also be more comfortable with a covered back strap grip. Given the price point, they're a bargain for any choice you make.

Great Grip
If you have held a Blackhawk, you know the grips are designed for smaller hands. I really like the way a gp100 feels in my large hands, but prefer the look and functionality of the Blackhawk. This grip will get you very close to the way a gp100 feels in hand. Follow the online video that Hogue put on YouTube and it's a 10 minute install.
