Price Concerns

Price is a notable point of discussion, with some reviewers expressing that the cost is high for pieces made from nylon. While many acknowledge that the utility justifies the expense, some still wish for a more affordable option.
Material Quality

A recurring comment among reviewers is the surprisingly high quality of the polymer material used in the ring reducers. Despite initial assumptions of them being plastic, users find that the material performs exceptionally well and holds the scope in place effectively.

Perfect
Worked perfectly on a Lyman Alaskan scope with Millet rings mounted to a Savage 99 75th anniversary model. No issues with slippage, though as already noted, some rosin would solve that.

Works on my setup
These are installed in a 30mm Bobro quick detach ring mount holding my Kahles 26mm ZF69 scope. It does take a little more time and attention to detail to "perfectly" align the split ring inserts and scope and keep them aligned while carefully torquing the ring screws. My scope has not shifted in the rings in over four years of use. I cleaned the rings and reducer inserts with denatured alcohol before mounting the scope.

worked great
I guess in my mind had them as being made of metal. when I opened them i thought dang plastic. BUT. I put them on and they worked great. The material they are made of holds the scope in my mind better than a metal one would anyway. Easy to put in and use and they look good no one even realizes they are there if the check out the scope I have on my AR. I would recommend them to any one who has a scope that wont fit the rings they want to use. They are better than I hoped for.

OUTSTANDING PRODUCT
I used these on a 7/8 inch rifle scope....couldn't find 7/8 inch rings so I just installed these and used one inch rings....outstanding results. I can strongly recommend the product. I installed them on a .30-06 and the rings and mount on the rifle is solid as a rock. You will need to cut off the overlapping excess of the delrin sleeve so make sure you have a sharp knife...you will like the result. Buy it.

Nice product
Perfect for installing a 3/4" vintage scope on 1" rings.

I would buy this product again
Used on my Savage 3C and Stevens 56 with the Weaver no 2 side mount base and 1" short ring set. Allows bolt handle clearance when used with a 3/4" scope and holds perfect zero.

Get Some and Keep Them On Hand
These things work perfectly well, and they hold zero. Personally, I just buy all my scopes in 30mm, and then if I want to switch to a 1" scope, I use these with no issues.

Lyman Alaskan 2.5 install with 1" Redfield on 1903A4 Clone
These ring reducers work great, but I had to use a heat gun to soften so I could trim excess away. Without the heat gun the delrin was brittel and would chip. But they do work great.

only place that has them
Only place you can find these. Brownells has what you need. I gave 4 stars because of the price of a couple pieces of nylon. If you gotta have them you gotta have them and they are the ONLY company that carries them. thank you Brownell.

Clunky but better than nothing
While I'd rather have dedicated 3/4" scope rings for older .22 rimfire riflescopes, there are very few to none available for some mounting systems. These inserts allow the prevalent 1" rings to be used with the older Weaver, Browning, Bushnell and other 3/4" tube .22 rimfire scopes that look more 'to scale' on smaller .22 rimfire rifles.
