Satisfied
Fits great in my anodize Noreen lower. Freely drops out when called to do so. Holds bolt back on last round fires. When filled to capacity, I can push it in on a closed bolt. Good bench shooting mag. Dependable so far.
awesome mags !
These mags are burly , they DO hold 20 and they DO load on a closed bolt when loaded with 20 rounds. Orange follower is easy to see in the dark recesses of the upper receiver . Just shy of 9 ounces.....labeled viewing holes cut in the body of the mag ...10,15 and 20........what is not to like ?
works in Galil ACE and PSA G2 in 7.62x51
If you want steel feed lips the D&H 20rd mag is 7 oz and Lancer LWM 20rd is 6 oz. D&H has functioned fine and is half the cost of a Lancer mag.
Solid Construction
I love this solid steel construction!!!
Older version? Tight fit, solid build
The 20 round green follower design I received (ordered 2) both were very well constructed, with a very tight fit. They will take the full 20 rounds, & can still be inserted on a closed bolt. They do require more force to insert into my WW AR-10 than a typical AR-15 would, & the magazines I received did not have the witness holes for round count. Overall a good value especially if you prefer steel to polymer and they accept the standard 2.8" COL needed for the 6.5CM. They fed my rifle reliably with 0 FTF's. Overall they are easy to reccomend, & as for the lack of round count witness holes, a drill bit can easily solve that, once you figure out where to put the holes.
Great but with a hitch
This magazines issue isn't the magazines fault, I have an Armalite AR-10A and the magazines are TIGHT in the mag well, as in non-dropfree tight. Again, not the fault of the magazine, just the variation of different rifle manufacturers.
Works fine in my PA-10 gen2
Bought one to give it a go in my newest toy (Palmeto State Armory gen 2 PA-10). So far zero issues, boring like its suppose to be in other words. It drops free and the bolt holds open on last round. Finish is actually rather nice. Who knows how it holds up long term but so far so good. The thing seems solid in a brick like fashion. The only draw back for me is that it is noticeably heavier than say, a 20 round Pmag while at the same time taking up way less vertical space. Bottom line.... Good looking, functional mag that seems tough, while weighing a couple ounces more than the biggest plastic competitor. Ya, I'm buying more for my PA-10.
For the price it is not bad
I have a AR10 / M110 I use the original M110 Steel Mags for me seeing that I reload OAL is critical the M110 Original steel mags will accommodate rounds with a 3.82" OAL so that It may allow you to run heavier and better BC bullets. Were as these mags built great, works well will NOT accommodate the longer rounds. It will NOT accept M118 LR 172 and 175 factory match either if you are shooting 168 and below I think you will be fine however I purchased this for the ability to run longer rounds so I will give it away to a friend that runs shorter rounds....
Feeds well, doesnt load well
Feeds well. For some reason the follower gets jammed around rd 5 or 6 pretty regularly and I have to unload and re load it. Im using 308/7.62 nato I think it feeds better than pmags though
Not For All
Did not fit my DPMS .308 AR. Product seemed well made but is not compatible with all AR platforms. Make sure your weapon will accept an SR pattern mag.
