Wolf gray
Worked great. Wasnt too think. The matte black was much thicker and harder to use. Just keep the can warm and shake constantly. In between sprays clean nozzle with alcohol. Top pic used matte black for barrel and btm used gray on most of the project
Nice, Easy and Durable finish!
Great product and easy to use. I find I get the best results when I media blast the surface. I also like to use the fast cure method on the can for the best results. Several guns done now and I love the stuff! 1st pic is when I got the gun!
After 10 years it still looks new
I used this on my frist gun build almost 10 years ago. It still looks like the day I sprayed it.
Very good product
The best spray on finish i have used, follow the directions and heat the part and Aluma- Hyde to 90 degrees. For best wear resistance and durability speed cure it as directed.
Does what it says
Put a popular synthetic stock on an old 870. Instead of trying to blue the metal, I painted the metal with matte black Aluma-Hyde II. It looks like parkerizing and matches the stock in looks. Still looks new after 2 years.
Matches my ar15 factory finish
I bought a suppressor for my ar15 and I had to cut about 1/8 inch off of my handgaurd to fully thread the suppressor on. I bought the black and touched up the handgaurd and you could never tell that it wasnt the factory finish.
Nice desert tan
The color of the cap looks like it has a touch of pink in it, but when applied it looks like a really nice tan. When you think of desert tan, this is probably what you have in mind . Just dont go by the color of the cap.
Great
Great to use. Went on easy. Took little amount.
Works great.
It goes on with a slight texture to it. Looks very good, just be sure to use light coats. The closest color I would say it is, is a medium matte grey. It has no brown or tan tones to it. Very similar to a bead blasted stainless steel. Cured very strong and has even lasted fine on my 308 muzzle brake.
Good stuff.
This is great stuff. Used it on a foreend and it stays coated without peeling or flaking. Resists solvents and scratching. Makes a bland rifle look tacticool.
