BUSHNELL - 15-45x60mm Tactical Spotting Scope

It has a reticle that helps call shots at a distance. It is FFP and the price is hard to beat, does the job of more expensive spotting scopes. I recommend it if you're on a budget.

This spotting scope is one of the best you can buy for the money. The FFP ranging reticle alone is enough to add a ton of value to this scope but the glass it pretty good to for the price you are buying this for. It's no Swarovski but it also doesn't cost as much either. My only gripe with this spotting scope was the fine focus ring would creep a bit when I first got it. After I sat and worked the focus ring back and forth in front of the tv for about 30 minutes I haven't had an issue with the focus creeping on me ever since. I would say this is the best spotting scope you can buy for under $500

I have owned and used this scope for over two years now for Tac. Shooting mostly at or over 1K yrds. I will give this scope 4.5 stars, not able to show halves on this site. The reason for a half is only because of the edge clarity. At the last 1/8 of the outside end of the lens circumstance it loses focus. To get better with a milling reticle you have to spend at least $1600 on a Leupold Mark 4. Until you spend well over 2K there isnt a high end optic with a reticle. The lens clarity is outstanding for this price range of Spotting scope. The build quality is very robust, this is a tuff little spotter. As to the fine focus remark of the other reviewer, the focus ring is both a gross focus and a fine focus combined in the one ring. The fine adjustment feels like play in the first movement of the ring. But it isnt play it is actually the fine adjustment added to the first part of the movement of the ring. Once you get uset to it you realize it is actually quite ingenious that they could make both in the same focus ring. And it is quite easy to get used to and use. I actually like that attribute of this, very compact tactical spotter. The scope is a great value. I like the fact that I can take this scope anywhere and not worry about damaging $3500 scope. I dont have that kind of money to throw around. I spent the big money on my rifle scope. That was $2500, Im quite happy with this little spotter. And I will keep it even if I buy a more expensive spotting scope somewhere down the road. So, if Im going to go on a rough hike and I need a spotting scope this one will be the one that goes in the pack.
