TENEBRAEX CORP - SUNGUARD ARD (ANTI REFLECTION DEVICE)

Mounted to the 10-40x 'scope on my M1A rifle, it has a good quality matrix that does not significantly decrease visibility and had no visible flaws. My 'scope did not need the adapter ring that it comes with.

Installs easily with the BC flip caps, no issues there, looks opr8r cool and does indeed remove reflection. This does however greatly reduce the quality of the image. It felt like my view was always out of focus. I wasn't sure what the problem was at first until I removed this and the instant improvement in image quality was like that first sip of whiskey. I doubt I'll ever put this back on my rifle. I've used ARDs before without this issue. I think the problem is that too much of the view is being obscured by the very fine honeycomb. The honeycomb needs to be coarser (larger holes). Yes that will reduce the ARD effectiveness but if you aren't even able to read text on your paper targets at 25 yards with a 14x then what good is it anyways?
