What is the EGW - CZ 527 16mm 1-Piece Picatinny Base 0 MOA?

Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. EGW one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. EGW machines these in their shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability. Recommend:

  • 0 MOA -if shooting 0-500 yards
  • 20 MOA -if shooting 500-1000 yards

When zeroing your rifle with a 20 MOA mount, EGW recommends zeroing at 200 yards. Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite (loctite is sold separately). The entire mount and accessories (from the mounting screws and wrench down to the packaging) are made in the USA.

Excellent Craftsmanship
The CZ 527 Rifle is a beautiful example of craftsmanship. However, the 16mm dovetail receiver limits your optic choices. The EGW Picatinny Rail adapter solves this problem. The machining perfectly matches the 16mm dovetail, creating a rock-solid platform for mounting modern optics such as night vision or thermal scopes. If you have an older CZ 527, the square notch in your receiver will fit perfectly. If you have a newer CZ 527 with the rounded notch, you will need to round off the square tooth on the mount to insure a perfect fit. This is easily accomplished with a small file or even sandpaper on a flat surface. I highly recommend this mount.
