Works for Silencerco Hybrid 46
This is a 9mm front cap appropriate for use in a the Silencero Hybrid 46. The price at the time of purchase in early 2020 was equivalent to other vendors. This steel end cap definitely decreased the sound levels of firing 9mm out of the silencer over having the 0.46" end cap that comes standard with the suppressor. I could already fire factory Remington 147 grain subsonics without hearing protection comfortably with the 0.46" end cap. But we all know it's not "good for" your ears to shoot without hearing protection even unsupressed. For the other calibers, look at the "Omega" end caps which also fit. Not many will choose to get the Hybrid 46 to use on a 9mm pistol (it's a little hefty and makes pistols front heavy) but for those who wanted 1 silencer that could do it all like I did this will do it. I thought: Why not have the Brownells warranty when the price is the same or better as other vendors? Mine felt a little crunchy upon installation but I saw no visible imperfections in the threads so my guess is the parkerization was wearing in or unburnt powder / fouling upon exchanging endcaps. Don't forget to switch out end caps when you go to shoot other calibers larger than 9mm. I may color code end caps to match the mounts to prevent a blowout. Couple this with a Nielson Device (part of which came with your suppressor) if shooting in a barrel that tilts to unlock.
