What is the GEISSELE AUTOMATICS LLC - 17" 7.62mm Suppressor Alignment Rod?

The Geissele Suppressor Alignment rod is a precision gauge used to verify the alignment of a suppressor to the bore of a firearm barrel. Note: Suppressor alignment is determined by several factors:

  1. Centerline alignment (offset and angular) of the barrel threads to the bore.
  2. Perpendicularity of the barrel shoulder to the threads.
  3. Alignment of the muzzle device’s internal diameter threads and torque shoulder to the suppressor attachment geometry.
  4. Alignment of the suppressor mounting ID geometry to the bore of the suppressor.

Precision Alignment Tool
I bought this for my IWI.300BLK with a 30-cal suppressor. It works perfectly! I can also use it on my AR-10. You slide the rod into the barrel, and let it protrude slightly out the suppressor. You can instantly see if you have even clearance all around, a slight off-angle, or are lined up for disaster. It is perfect for aligning the suppressor, direct thread or QD adapter. I also bought the 9mm and .223 sizes. I would not want to be without it when reassembling after cleaning.
