She a beauty
This is my first AR-15 I have bought, so I can only compare this to other peoples ARs that I have shot. Take this review with a grain of salt. The rifle came with 2 butt stock pads that you could replace: one curved in and one that is curved out. It also comes in a cheaper looking case with a big Daniel Defense logo on it that is way to skinny to close with a flashlight on, so be aware that you will need a new case if you are looking to keep a flashlight on the rifle. The charging handle and the trigger are by far my least favorite parts of the gun. I have a radian coming in to replace the DD Grip and Rip. The trigger does have a fair amount of creep to it, but as a duty rifle it should be perfectly serviceable. Daniel Defense wasnt made famous for their charging handles and triggers though, the barrel, bolt carrier group, Handguard and flash hider are the best I have seen in person. Gas key staking is done right, I have not been able to see any sign of a flash at all with 55 and 77 grain (I have not done any night shooting with it yet) and the handguard feels like you could play baseball with it. The handguard doesnt have any QD mounts on it so if you want to run it with a 2 point sling you will have to add another QD mount up front. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. This isnt a buy it and shoot it package, but it is an amazing starting platform if you really just want high quality. 5/5
