Great shooting
added a muzzle brake to calm the recoil down a bit , rifle shots very well 3 shot groups at 100 yards you can cover with a Quarter. Will work with reloads to get it better

Light, about what you would expect for the price
I received my Howa superlite 308 win with a tan stock. I bought the rifle for a light weight hunting set up. It is advertised as 4 lbs 7 oz. Right out of the box it weighs 4lbs 11 oz. Removing mount for the scope and magazine dropped it to 4lb 8.5 oz. why not just call it what it is. It is still a super light rifle. The stock is very sturdy and extremely light weight. I was impressed by its quality. The action is very noisy. Rough machining where the bolt contacts the action is amplified by the ridged stock making a hollow grinding sound. I worked the bolt in the house and my two year old said “too loud” and covered her ears. The trigger breaks crisply at 2.5 lbs. I put a Leupold vx freedom 3-9x40 on it and Talley mounts. The whole setup weights 5 lbs 8 oz. I will follow up once I work up a load with accuracy’s.
