Nice looking pistol
Feel like I got a used pistol. Only because the barrel was scratched up like it had been shot many times. I didn't notice it when I picked it up from my FFL since I wasn't able to do a field strip in his office. I noticed when I got it home but at that point there's no returning it. I went to a local store to check out a new one and theirs had no scratches on the barrel, it was nicely blued like you would expect with a new pistol. With that said It shoots real nice, smooth and I love the pistol. One other thing wrong was after around 80 rounds at the range I started to get failure to feeds consistently. When I got it home and gave it a good clean & lub, I noticed the extractor pin was almost out of the top of the slide. I removed the pin and extractor and cleaned it out really good. The next time at the range I paid attention for when it started to get failures to feed and noticed that it happened somewhere between 80 & 100 rounds and when I checked the extractor pin was again rising up out of the slide. A few more rounds and it would have fallen out and my extractor lost. Emailed S&W and they are sending me a new pin, maybe this one's a little under sized. Still waiting on the replacement pin. Probably will stay away from buying pistols from Brownells after this experience but I will shop with them for other things I'm sure. Don't get me wrong I like Brownells and can't say they didn't get the pistol in that condition, but I'm not happy with the condition of a $1500 pistol, almost $1600 after tax and FFL fee. 4 stars cause it's a great pistol, -1 for the extractor pin popping out the top of the slide.
