M&P Shield +

I purchased this pistol for home protection and CCW. Its another great S&W that is ported and has a red dot and also it came out of the performance shop! The fit and finish are very nice I really like it and it is a joy to shoot! So far I have no complaints about the S&W Shield plus its a great Pistol like all S&W's I have owned. Thanks Brownell Great Job as always!!! It did not hurt that Brownell and S&W have a rebate right better hurry!

One of the Best EDCs out

Product works great its a huge improvement over the previous model. Love it so far after about 1000 rounds its worth the price!!

Maybe the perfect concealed carry pistol

Smith and Wesson hit a home run with this handgun. The small size coupled with easy shooting and 13 rounds in the magazine may very well make this the ultimate concealed carry handgun. The Plus is the same size as the regular Shield, but just a bit longer. Adding the optic on top makes it a bit taller than the regular Shield, meaning that holsters for the regular Shield won't fit. That means I am having a hard time finding a holster. As more people buy this model, that should get easier. The flat trigger has a consistent, smooth pull with a crisp break. It feels just like the Apex trigger that is on my 9c. The porting eliminates muzzle flip. The fiber optic sights and the Red dot are easy to see and intuitive to get on target. I took it to the range as soon as I picked it up from the dealer and got the red dot dialed in. I put a mag through the ten ring at 15 yards as quick as I could line up the red dot on the target. included the handgun, 2 magazines, a cleaning kit, and all of the other little fiddly bits like Allen wrenches for adjusting the sight, mounting screws, the gun lock, etc. The only negative things that I have to say about this handgun is that the stippling on the grip is still a bit rough on the skin when carried IWB, and magazines are not compatible with any other M&P handgun. Combined with the fact that extra magazines are impossible to find anywhere- even the factory doesn't have any. By the time they are available, a possible Biden magazine ban may be in place and the two that come with it may be all you will ever have. Keep that in mind.

Red Dot Died after two uses

Smith & Wesson Shield Plus red dot died after 2nd session (about 75 rounds).
