MK II Military Rifle Trigger
Fit my M48 Yugo Mauser perfect, giving a very smooth light trigger pull. Minimal wood removal in the military stock, and no trigger guard metal removal, as I have had to do with another brand.

Dayton Traister trigger for Mauser 98
Excellent trigger for a 1942 G33/40 that I re-barreled to 257 Ackley with a 1953 FN barrel. Solved the trigger problem: crisp, no creep, but a bit too light at the factory setting for a hunting gun, so I’ll adjust it. This is at least the second Dayton Traister trigger I’ve installed - excellent product.

Fits well and easy to install
The trigger dropped right in and fit perfectly. The original Mauser safety functions perfectly. The trigger pull is crisp and feels nice. I will know more once I take it to the range, but so far, five stars.

Definitely Recommended
Installation is straigtforward following the simple rules on the spec sheet. Careful removal of the proper amount of wood under the trigger assembly is time consuming but once accomplished, the trigger affords a considerable improvement over the original military trigger. Factory setting of the break weight is just about right for a hunting rifle.

Yugo M48 installation
Great trigger once installed. Easy install on the receiver but the stock required inleting. Took about 1.5 hours of carefully removing elm stock material behind the original inlet. About 3/8 wide and as deep cut out back to 3/8" of rear receiver pillar. When first installed, I did not take enough material out and the bolt would bind on cocking when the receiver screws were tightened. Removed more material with the dremel. Trigger guard was fine but I opened the trigger hole slightly. Good pull with a hint of two stage, very crisp break. Well worth the effort.
