This trigger group will save me time on my AR build and subsequent maintenance. And at a great price!

If you know what your doing and PROPERLY install this trigger then it will function flawlessly no doubt or for sure JMT would take of the issue free of charge as I talked to them via email and got fast educated replies and an assurance of be taken care of if say for example the hammer didn't have enough force to 100% of the time Strike the primer hard enough for detonation since it has lighter spring weights than an OEM style AR trigger and again was assured that I'd be taken care of and I truly believe him as I'm sure we all I is when someone is lying and doubt JMT was. First is don't use their anti fall out pins as they are pretty cheap. I used KNS dog bone style anti walk and rotation pins which is what you really want since the hammer will rotate the pin and potentially over time cause the bolt to come loose. Also a huge reason I say to use ONLY KNS pin sets is because so many reviewers clearly didn't know how to PROPERLY install this can though it's super easy since they used the JMT pins that just don't work CORRECTLY with this trigger. And for all those who complained it didn't work and wobbled and still didn't add the super easy to install set screws that JMT claims is mandatory which I agree for most, but not for the KNS pin setups. But even if you use the KNS pins sold here at Brownells you still might need to add the set screws that basically jam the trigger assembly\case against the lower receiver so it cannot wobble at all and if you can't do this then it's for SURE YOU are the issue and NOT the trigger! I installed mine into a War Dogs skeletonized lower with KNS pins and didn't at all have a single bit of trigger assembly\case movememt and that's with neither of the set screws used and the entire trigger assembly is rock solid mounted and had zero movement in any direction and it works perfectly! And for those who claim it has a long take up or pre travel their totally wromg! It's the shortest trigger pull I've ever felt it even seen in all my twenty or more years or building one off AR's, GLOCKS, etc. there is no pre travel! Also the 3.5-4 pounds trigger pull weight is dead in and not even close to 7 or 8 like one of the reviewers claimed. Mine is just shy of four pounds and feels super smooth with zero gritty feeling and breaks like a thin piece of glass for super accurate shots. The over travel is non existent and is so nice having a trigger that has zero creep and zero over travel makes shooting so much more pleasurable and just feels great to shoot. One thing I recommend is upgrading to a titanium firing pin as I did for even more reliability so as to make sure the primer is hit nice and hard especially using a trigger assembly that has a hammer that doesn't have as strong a spimg as a cheap OEM trigger. Probably not needed, but reduces lock time by at least 50% which is the time from after the triggers pulled and the primers struck which is exactly when the gun needs to be as still as possible for an accurate shot so a titanium firing pin is worth the money and I bet brownells has them as well. FYI...Using cheap Wolf .223 steel cased ammo and the trigger is still strong enough to detonate the harder primers that come with the wolf and tula ammo so if you are having light primer strikes then I HIGHLY recommend buying a titanium firing pin! If you want the BEST trigger other than Elf's new $300 trigger this is it! CMC, Timney, and all the rest aren t as good as this trigger as I've tried so many aftermarket triggers and this is the ONLY one I bought and kept so that should tell you how fewer this trigger really is! The others were okay, but for sure not worth the high prices and simply weren't as good of a trigger as this JMT one truly is. If you install this and the trigger moves at all, then you didn't proper!y installing and you are the issue and not at all the trigger! And if that happens just taken you gun into a pro shop and have a pro do the job for you. Anyone who complaints about this trigger simply can't install it! Which is sad since the entire thing is contained within itself so it's way easier to install than an OEM trigger and doesn't require you to fight against the hammer spring especially exhilarating to get the hammer pin fully installed. So to summarize... Use KNS pins and you probably won't need to use the trigger set screws to get rid of any slop or wobble that may be in the trigger after install. And if you need to use the set screws, USE THEM! And highly recommend a titanium during pin for this trigger Justin make sure to unwind have any light primer strikes which I've had zero of using one. Super short take up and super short reset with a super smooth trigger pull right at 4 pounds of pull weight for the shooter. BUT IT OR THEIR FLAT FACE TRIGGER! BEST TRIGGER HANDS DOWN other than the ONE Elf trigger that costs around $300 and for me that trigger can't be two hundred dollars worth better than distributed since this one is as closer perfect you an get! But it!

Product arrived on time, as always with brownells. Followed packaging intructions and visited jmj website for product install/specifics. Have used in a savage msr multi-no problems. Have used in a ww-15-no problems. Tried several uppers w it-no problems(includjng .300aac,5.56,.458,350 legend). Love the look and setup/adjustment was a breeze. Couldnt possibly ask for anything more for the price. Will be buying several more for new builds and a couple spares. Much thanks to the folks @ jmj and of course brownells too.

Have one in DPMS 308 and one in JMT lower 5.56. Works WAY better than the rock river trigger in the 308 and has a very good feel. Consistent and doesnt seem to care what ammo Im using. Cheap steel case to premium federal it all fires.

Whether shooting at paper or animals of the two legged variety, reliability is important. Besides the really cool looks, it installs super easy, and has a really pleasant feel on the squeeze. I've easily tuned my milspec triggers with a translucent stone to achieve the light break/feel this provides. Completely recommend.
