What is the ELFTMANN - AR-15 AMBIDEXTROUS SPEED SAFETY?

The Elftmann Tactical AR-15 Ambi Speed Safety ensures that you can quickly and easily move your AR-15 from "Safe" to "Fire" and back again with one easy, simple movement. The selector requires zero movement of the shooter's dominant hand to actuate and is machined from hardened stainless steel. The safety ships with the required detent and fits all standard mil-spec AR-15 receivers. Available finish options are black oxide or polished stainless steel. The ambidextrous selector does not work with Hiperfire triggers.

Backwards
It is the coolest thing that I have seen so far. It is just backwards from everything else that I grew up with. For a right-hander, I would push it to put on Fire. Then put my finger on the trigger.

Fast and Clean
I own a few of these in both black and stainless. Clean look and simple use. Fast and easy to install. These have great function, fit, and finish. Definitely not just a gimmick.

Very Well Made
A very well made solution to the ambi safety on an AR. Easy to install, and functions well. Does not get in the way you your trigger finger like other safeties. This is what the AR should have came with from the beginning.

Friggin awesome
I can't think of any negatives about this thing and it's so far the nicest safety I've ever used. I would definitely recommend this over a lever type safety. What was a real surprise to me was the fact that it looks exactly like the item picture, polished stainless steel. I would however suggest a dab of oil in the groove the detent pin rides in as to allow for a slightly smoother operation. It was a bit tight to begin with but like anything new, it just needs to be broken in.
