The Stock Tube Adaptor has been engineered to be a strong and compact method for shooters to install a stock or pistol arm brace on any firearm with a picatinny rail piece. The Midwest Industries Stock Tube Adaptor was tested for the most extreme usage. This product is machined out of billet 6061 aluminum which is hard coat anodized for a lifetime of service. The Stock Tube features a easily accessible water proof storage compartment for additional storage. With the compact design, the 6 position Mil-Spec diameter tube allows for the adjustment for any shooter. This product is 100 percent made in the U.S.A. and is backed by a lifetime warranty by the manufacturer.

Great alternative to Sig stock options
I own several MCX Virtus rifles. I decided to buy one of these to compare it to the Sig options when using an AR lower. I really like it. Very high quality. Very sturdy. I like the fit and feel, and would buy again if I decide to modify another AR lower for the MCX Virtus. I definitely recommend this, especially since it is reasonably (imho) priced.

Not really ready yet
I had planned to use this on a BRN-180 lower. The set screw does not fill the slot. The tube will slide up or down. The instructions said to torque the fitting to at least 40 lbs. and not more than 60 lbs. I will try to see if I can work up a cylindrical shim. As an aside the SIG folding stock adapter does have a solid fit.
