Full kit review.
The stock is overall made really nice. It's color is a dark charcoal like it is supposed to be, not black like an A1. There was a little bit of edge damage in the fiberglass that might have been a manufacturing defect or from storage. I didn't notice it until I took some close-up pictures. The whole end plate including the trap door is made of plastic. The trap door latch pin is made of plastic (reduced review by one star for this), however the latch catch is steel. The trap door hinge bracket is steel. The inside of the stock appears to be either foam filled or with a plastic insert (I can't tell without a full disassembly) with a cavity or storage pocket molded in the foam/plastic. The sling loop is steel. The buffer tube screw has the proper drain hole. The buffer weight teetered between is 5.15 and 5.16 oz (kitchen scale) and is made with dead blow weights. The spring was 32.5 cm or 12.8 inches long with 43 coils. The spring, buffer, and buffer tube seem to be of good quality. Other than the plastic trap door latch pin, which functions just fine, you will not be disappointed with this stock. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

The trap doors function does not work properly. The color is a charcoal rather than black . Also the item is incomplete. No tube spring or buffer is given. Quickly returned..

It's Shiny Gray, Does not Match Black Finish on M4 Rifles
I was expecting a Black A2 stock. This item is definitely very gray and has a gloss reflective nature to it. Does not look good on a black rifle. Very disappointed.
