Colt A4 screw with drain hole
I just bought this Stock screw for my colt A4. The screw on my colt had been mangled by the previous owner and I wanted the exact same part.This is it.The exact same screw.It has the drain hole.It also has the red patch of locker on the threads.

This screw does have the drain hole!
The other reviewer said that his stock screw didn't have the drain hole drilled through it and I was tempted not to buy after reading that review (especially since it was a pretty new review), but I took the chance anyways and added it to my order... I was relieved when my order finally came in and the screw does indeed have the drain hole! The only thing that I don't like about this is the price. You can literally get nearly 10 of the same exact screw through YHM for the same price.

No drain holes!
This is a disappointing addendum to my earlier review... Since I had good luck in getting one of these screws and it had the drain hole through it, I figured I'd buy two more to go along with the two Colt A4 stocks in the same order... Well, I just received the order and the two screws had no drain hole through them, in addition these drain hole-less screws had no thread locking patch... So that sucks, I'll buy these from YHM next time. Clearly Colt is shipping Brownells these screws both with and without the drain holes with the same part number.

Weep hole is now absent in A4 screw
I generally would buy Colt parts from Brownells because I knew I was getting spec AR15 parts. However I have noticed colt parts seem to be a lower quality than they used to be. For example this A4 Butt Cap screw (Part SP64577) No longer has the weep hole going through the middle of it. I guess it will still work but I am not going to use this part.
