Great sight… use loctite
Great sight I saw the negative reviews about the microscopic sight adjustment screws so once I got it zeroed I used blue loctite… no issues after that

Excellent Sights
These sights are excellent! They are very easy to install, and to address some of the problems encountered in earlier reviews, let's get back to basics. When removing a dovetailed sight, front or left...drift from left to right, and instal from right to left. When putting screws in to mount any sights install them with purple LocTight. (It's made for this purpose. If you are having trouble with the adjustment screws losing, install them with beeswax. To the one fellow who said that the mounting screw broke off...do not over-tighten, and you will be fine. In short these are well made sights, and deserve a good rating.

Great sight replacement
The rear peep combined with the front fiber optic are great for aging eyes when standard sights just don't stand out well enough. Instalation was easy. The hardest part was getting the 10/22 factory front sight out. Just required extra tapping to drift it out. The rear peep is adjustable for windage and elevation by separate screws.

Fire Sights with rear peep aperture
My 10-22 used to sit in the gun cabinet most of the time with its awful stock open sights. The first try with these Williams fire sights I was knocking out the center of the target at 50yds with tight groups. The elevation and windage set screw loosened up, however within 30 rounds, just like a previous reviewer described. I think it needs a little blue loctite 246 on the threads just to help it out. Really had to wail on the stock 10-22 sights to remove them. Good idea to use a brass drift, and clamp and support the stock to a sturdy bench to prevent damage to the rifle.

good value
These are great sights for older eyes that have trouble picking up the fine Ruger sights. But the screws on my sight come loose easily. Not the base but the screws for adjustment of the peep. Usually with less than fifty rounds fired. The screws are very fine for teflon tape and I don't want to locktite them. Otherwise an improvement over factory sights.
