WILLIAMS GUN SIGHT - Ruger~ 10/22~ Fiber Optic 3-Dot Fire Sights Multi

Took me 10 minutes to change out the hard to see factory sights for these new fiber optic sights that are very easy to see. They look as though they belong on the rifle.

The installation was easy, except that the set screw on the rear sight stripped rather easily. I wound up using lock tite on the dove tail, and am hoping that it works. On the plus side they are way easier to see that the pitiful factory sights.

I bought these sights because I basically run fiber optic on everything I prefer Dawson they have never failed me! That being said the review about the sight falling off is spot on only I didn't make it to 50rds I'm going to buy this set again and try and fix the issue but my hopes are not higher the second time but I really don't see anything out there that is better even ruger sells these same sights on their web sight i strongly recommend you be prepared if you buy these they need special care very fragile and unforgiving!

A professional gunsmith put this sight on two of my 10/22 rifles Both guns after about 50 - 100 shots the elevation and windage set screws came loose, tighten them and they continually came loose. Nothing holds the site on to the rail beyond a dovetail joint and set screw. The set screws make it hard to make precise adjustment. You could Locktite them in place but that defeats the purpose of the adjustment. This is a very poor design. The Alignment marks are meaning less as I had to place the slide past the marks. On one rife the front pin walked out of place to the left. Bottom line the factory sights work better than these.
