What is the MARBLE ARMS - Rossi 92 Tang Sight Rear Sight Black?

Adds a touch of authenticity to pump and lever action rifles, whether they’re used for hunting or Cowboy Action Shooting. Provides better sight definition and faster target acquisition in the field or on the range. Locates the aperture closer to the eye for a clear sight picture; longer sight radius increases accuracy. All steel construction with micrometer adjustments for windage and elevation. Folds to the rear for storage. Mounting screw set must be purchased separately.

SPECS: Steel, blued. Older guns may require drilling and tapping. Includes (2) Ѕ" diameter apertures: .055" (1.4mm) and .102" (2.6mm) size holes, and (1) ѕ" diameter aperture with .032" (.81mm) hole. Savage 99 will not fit late rifles with top safety. Late rifles with safety at trigger will require drilling and tapping. Mounting screw sets sold separately.

Outstanding product

I have these aperture tang sights on my Winchester 1873, 1894, and 1892 lever guns both original and replicas. Outstanding quality and performance for target, hunting, and competition in SASS Cowboy Action plus Wild Bunch.

Great product

Just received this sight and installed it on my wife's Rossi M92. Simple installation drilled and tapped 10-32 on the tang. Everything fit perfect. Sight is fast and much better than the original buckhorn. I have a milling machine so aligning the tang for drilling and tapping was a piece of cake, a drill press and vise would also do the job. Remember to order the bolt kit. Thanks for a great product. Jack

Repair was satisfactory.

Marble did an excellent job of repairing it. A new aperture was installed and it fit correctly. All the play in the post was removed and is now very tight. Turn around time was very good 13 calendar days from the day I mailed it to its return. The original defects were disappointing, but the repair was very satisfactory. Installation will be next.

The good: very nicely made and finished. The base mates well with the tang. The bad: there were no instructions. I called Marble and they quickly emailed them. They were very good and should have been included in the box. If they are not included with your sight, don't mess with it. Call immediately and get a copy before you ever take the sight out of the box. The ugly: one of the apertures only had 1 thread so it would not go onto the post and the sight also had a small amount of front/rear play. I returned the sight and aperture to Marble and I'm waiting their return. My final assessment is pending.
