MARBLE ARMS - Rifle Adjustable Peep Short Bullseye Rear Sight Black

Bought one for my Uberti 73 44 mag carbine, it has a metric dovetail, so I had to file the sight to fit. Works great, I’m used to tang sights, but didn’t want to drill a hole in the tang because the 44 mag has a harder steel receiver, didn’t want to chance it. This is a great option, too bad they don’t make one with the metric dovetail. Lots of cowboy shooters with uberti rifles 🤠

Works great on an old Stevens 22 rifle I have. Training my nephews how to shoot and this sight significantly enhanced their ability to hit target first round over the original leaf sight. Had to do some minor filing to ensure it fit right but that is preferable over having a too loose sight. Sits nice and tight, very easy to acquire target.

My Model 94 32 spl carbine was assembled during the lost period of '42-'46; barrel was made in '38 and dovetailed for the short spring buckhorn, but it was assembled with a long spring buckhorn that we could never keep together with the ramp: the thumb beavertail had to be cut off to get the sight to work at all. When I found this short bulls-eye and discovered that it would work on my gun, I ordered it. I chose 'slow-boat' mail shipping (cheapest), but it still took only 5 days. It installed easily, if with a bit of barrel scarring from a sight pusher that didn't work perfectly with the tapered Winchester barrel. I like the look and I especially like that the (included) ramp is "trapped" and can't get lost. Laser bore sighting indicates that the gun will be easier to get shooting close. It was almost impossible with the long spring sight. Considering that I've never taken a shot further away than about 170 yards, this bulls-eye sight should be a BUNCH easier to hunt with!

I replaced the stock sheet metal sight on this rifle. Installation was fairly simple, but did require a lot of filing. Thank goodness it shot just a touch high at 25 yards, since you can't lower impact. I needed just a couple of taps to get windage right on target. I shot several groups under a dime with this. Not bad for an old guy with bad eyes.

I was looking for a sight that my middle age eyes could tolerate and be comfortable with. I installed this bullseye and my accuracy improved trifold. Easy to see and quick to get on target. Do yourself a favor and buy this sight! The short version is the one you want for the Henry rifles. I might add that it really improves the appearance of the rifle as I have many peiople at the range asking about it. Minor fitting may be required but just slightly, if any.
