The C4 sights concentric circles create a sight picture that optimizes accuracy. Unlike your standard backup iron sights. The closest thing you can get to an Holographic or red dot optic. Highly recommend them. They also sell front sight posts for fine tuning zeroing.

Sight in at distance requires a bit more skill/work than a good ole magnified scope. It is amazing how small the target is past 300 yards. That being said, these sights work great. The elevation adjustments are in 50 yard increments. It has been awhile since i have shot irons past 100 yards. It is cool to go out there and see that you got good hits.

"I can't believe that no one thought of this before now" I had the idea for sights with the exact features here years ago. I always loved the globe style hk sights. (I wish the would completely close the top ears) I wanted to produce them and bring them to market im kinda glad someone else did. They made on or two improvements to what i had in mind. I have "a few grendel AR's that i want to put irons on so ill be sending over $1k your way for sights soon. I have checked out knights and griffin arm. I was to dissapointed the griffen didnt have replacement apetures for the rear. Like these. So ill have to buy 4-6 sets of these and ill update my review. I already know these are going to be worth the money though.

My son-in-law, a competitive shooter, gave me a set of Ultradyne C4 sights for my 60th birthday. In my younger days, I was quite proud of my shooting ability with iron sights. Unfortunately, after age 40 presbyopia increasingly limited my ability to focus with iron sights. The C4 sights, however, have been nothing short of a miracle for my old eyes. The open circle front sight and the rear peep sight allow me to clearly see, and hit, the target. I now intend on entering iron sight competitions, something I would never have considered before using the C4's. I can't believe that no one thought of this before now. I should also note that the machining and construction quality of these sights are first rate. I am ordering a set that fits on the barrel with their muzzlebrake for an AR-15. The sights are expensive but they re-opened a new shooting world for me.
