Rear sight aperture is too big, hard to focus. Front sight pin/post is too loose, easy loosing zeroing. Can be glued with Locktite if you want to zero it to one distance only. If you go to different distance ranges and have to adjust it, can't use the glue. Front signt base is Ok.

The rear sight is steel, and is hand adjustable for windage; no tool required. The rear sight is attached to the picatinny rail. It mounted just like any scope base, and seems to be well made. The front sight is a disaster! It’s composed of four (4) pieces; a super tall anodized aluminum base, a set screw for the base, a very thin front sight post and a tool to adjust the height of the front sight post. There are several problems with this front sight. First, the steel post threads into the aluminum base, and there’s nothing to keep it “set”. It spins and wobbles fairly easy. Maybe it’s a self adjusting sight system? It needs a detent and a spring to keep it locked in place! I mean Samson, really? Really? Second, you need to thread the post into the same hole that the set screw uses, which means the thread locker will grab onto the post. Also, the post is super thin, and difficult to see. Lastly, the front sight base should be steel, and not aluminum. It’s a really high/tall sight base, and seems to be a fragile setup. Tech Sights were originally aluminum, and they later switched to steel. I put these on a takedown model, and I have the B-TM stock on back order. I won’t buy another set of these. Tech Sights will go on my folder. Samson needs to fix this.
