DANIEL DEFENSE - Fixed Lightweight Sight Set for AR-15 Black

This is a great set of iron sites. Some of the top guys use these. They are full co-witness on my EO Tech. And solid as hell.

Great irons. I put these on a home defense rifle that is designed to be more compact and have a minimal design. Last weekend I had the opportunity to go to the range and finally test these sights out. At 100 yards I was able to zero on a 2-inch sticker. I shot 3 5-shot groups to confirm zero and to my surprise was able to shoot stellar groups right around 1 minute of angle. 1 group less than 1 MOA and the other right at or just over. With the right load and a reliable rifle, these irons work extremely well and certainly didn't hinder accuracy. I'd certainly buy them again

Unbelievable quality and design. I own many of Daniel Defense firearms and these sights show the level of the brand. I was always hung up on expensive flip up back up sights by other manufacturers, but not anymore. In reality the sights are ready to go with optics when used with proper mounts,everyone has their own style,and the way they train.These are an absolute bargain for a set compared to what other companies charge for a single flip up rear sight. I plan on slowly swapping out my current sights for these and with out a doubt will be using on all future rifles.

I installed these irons on an existing rifle that had a Trijicon MRO on it and co-witnessed the small aperture to the dot. I typically only use the small aperture but regardless flipped over to the larger aperture to take a look and had to adjust my head to line up the sights. After doing this a few times I realized something was wrong because the small aperture would be perfectly lined up with the red dot, but the large would require me to adjust my head and would be off from the dot. After taking a closer look at the large aperture, I found that the hole had not been centered. It is visibly off center to the right enough so much that if you change from large to small zero would certainly be thrown off. I'm just going to order a replacement A2 aperture and be on my merry way, but I would have expected better from Daniel Defense. Will this matter at 10 yards? Nope. But if you go to the range and decide to punch 100/200 yard paper this could ruin the range trip. I'm going to leave it on the small aperture for now until a replacement comes in.
