What is the HOWA - M1500 SUPERLITE 243 WINCHESTER BARRELED ACTION?
This new Brownells Exclusive barreled action offering features the unique, scaled-down Howa Action found on their Super Lite that is in between the popular Howa Mini Action and standard Short Action platform. With your choice of Howa Super Lite stock, you can build the perfect stick and move mountain rifle or compact tree stand go to setup that doesn’t break the bank and performs. Available in a 20” barrel and chambered in 243 Winchester. Because the Super Lite is a new platform, it will not work with short action, long action, or mini action stocks.

Not as pictured.
No picatinny rail was included nor was a owners manual sent with the barreled action. But, buy buying the barreled action and stock separately I saved a significant amount of $ over the cost of complete Howa Superlite rifle.

The action itself is sleek and smooth. Dropped right into a factory stock. Comes with picatinny rail as mentioned. Review would be 5 stars but they don’t include the screws to attach the picatinny rail and leave me with the task of tracking down appropriately sized screws that could have been included for pennies.
