behind every blade of grass...
...is a patriot with a rifle!! I went with this upper to build a m16A4 Clone....fit perfect with the m4e1 lower from aero precision. the knights armament rail fit like a glove the first time...very happy with this FN upper....I built this to be my "go to" rifle if all i could grab is one and some gear.....i felt the 20" barrel and longer sight radius would make this a real accurate shooter when paired with the ACOG and RMR ....brought to the range had zero issues and zeroed in less than 6 rounds.....i'm gonna buy another soon, def get one of these for your builds....every patriot needs a 20" rifle in the arsenal to get the full potential off 5.56 round

Good to go!
I served in the Marines from 2003-2009. Really wanted an A2 build but couldnt find a quality FN with the A2 carry handle upper. This is the next best thing. True USMC specs. And I was really happy to see the hand guards arent some knock off plastic. They are just like the ones on my A2 in boot camp. This upper is great if you want an A2 look with the ability to build an A4 clone. Quality finish, markings. It was factory test fired.

Good GI Flat Top
Mil-spec flat-top upper with GI-contour barrel. Fit and finish as expected. I replaced the round handguards with retro-style triangular handguards as a personal preference.

Blemished upper?
Appears to be blemished which is disappointing. Roll marks on barrel off center from front sight post, scratch down the barrel, the upper receiver doesnt have the fn logo on side of receiver like in photo. Contacted manufacturer just waiting for response. Havent fired yet as I may end up returning upper as this is top dollar for such poor quality control.
