What is the KIDD INNOVATIVE DESIGN - Bolt Buffer for Ruger 10/22 LR?
This 10/22 accessory is a must have! An inexpensive quick to install upgrade. A great addition if you want less battering, vibration, and recoil noise. Not recommended for use with magnum receivers.

FEATURES:
  • Aftermarket replacement for the 10/22 bolt stop
  • Steel core with padded tubing cover
  • Eliminate “bolt battering” of the receiver
  • Dampen cycling vibration
Installation Instructions:
First install the tubing beginning from the inside center of the receiver and pushing it out through the right and left side. (If you attempt to thread the tubing from the outside left or right it’s more difficult) Second from the outside of the receiver thread/push the dowel pin through the tubing. Note, the cocking handle and bolt will need to be installed prior to the KIDD bolt buffer.

Excellent product
This little buffer pin is awesome, if you’re shooting suppressed this is an absolute must for maximum volume reduction at the ear. I think many people don’t realize that the action cycling in a stock 10/22 is surprisingly loud due the bolt impacting the all-steel buffer pin. Even shooting unsuppressed, this will be a welcome and simple modification. Can’t say anything about durability yet, but I usually shoot standard velocity or subs, occasionally supersonic “extras” like Aguila SuperExtra or CCI Minimag. I don’t ever shoot hyper velocity rounds.

A pain to install
Not sure why they go with 2 pieces instead a solid rod, but it made for a pain to install! Avoid!

A Pain To Insert & Remove
I found the buffer and pain in the arse to take out and put back in! Jacket kept sliding off pin. Why would you go a 2 piece buffer, when a solid one piece works just as good or better?
